Between 1996 and 2005 I regularly held seminars in 8 German cities. They have benn quite popular, as weekend seminars are a nice combination of efficient training and socializing with likeminded peers. As I have now time for content production, I will revive this tradition.

The frequency of my seminars will mostly depend on two factors: My productivity rate and the willingness of chess clubs to act as co-organizers.  In the next couple of months, I will try to find partner chess clubs in Germany, Belgium and The Netherlands.

Once dates and venues are settled, this information will be published on my front page. The details will be revealed on this sub-page here.

I can already give some generic information, though:

I have ideas for many interesting subjects. In all likelihood the first topics will be:

1. Sicilian Four Knights

2. Anti-c3-Sicilian

3. Anti-Positional Sidelines (Closed Sicilian, Closed Sicilian with c3, 2.g3, 2.b3, 2.Nf3 e6 3.b3)

4. Anti-Aggressive Sidelines (Grand Prix Attack with 2.f4 and 2.Nc3 Nc6 3.f4, Tiviakov line 2.Nc3 Nc6 3.Bb5, Morra-Gambit, Wing Gambit)

15 hours has been the standard. A typical agenda would be:

Saturday 10:00 – 19:00

Sunday 10:00 – 16:00

Paperless. You will receive all material in electronic form during the seminar.
